Non-contact optical fiber probe
with stainless steel shroud measures temperature on the mold surface

Measures the speed, frequency and
length of the gob. PC compatible to unload measurements of memory.
- S700-PGM
A handheld instrument for gathering data on the length and speed of
gobs during glass container manufacture. The S700-PGM, which
supersedes the older Gobli units, is easy to use, compact,
lightweight and capable of storing over 2000 time-referenced readings
which helps optimize delivery performance and enables problems to be
detected and eliminated before they become serious. The unit can also
be used as an aid during machine set up to reduce machine downtime
following job changes.

- GRAPHOIDAL HOT END ROW MONITOR
This small unit is used to
monitor the alignment of the bottles as they leave the stacker bar to
ensure they are correctly positioned for the Cold End Spray. The
system will raise an alarm as soon as a stacking problem arises,
rather than this alarm coming from the Cold End Spray when the lehr
is full of badly aligned bottles which cannot be coated.

EQUIPMENT
Twin axis spray bridge that monitors the lehr belt
speed and also the distance between the bottles, preventing the need
for the operator to make adjustments to the system either during a
run or even on job changes. This type of fully automatic system
control keeps the spray nozzle in the center of the row, ensuring
even and consistent coating application with the ability to position
the tip of the spray nozzle below the neck of the bottles ensuring no
coating is applied to the finish. The controller offers the operator
the ability to customize the job set-up and then store in job
history.

- GRAPHOIDAL COLD END
DOSING
Can be combined with equipment mentioned above or
purchased separately for use with existing equipment and can operate
on single or multiple lines. Provides precise ratio control for the
coating emulsion strength, with fully automatic adjustments to
compensate for changes in water usage and, as the system injects the
coating online, there is no mixture storage tank removing the
bacterial growth and build-up problems. The system also has an
electronic back up pump that activates automatically for trouble-free
operation. The system displays digitally the flow rate from the
nozzles, enabling the input of low and high flow alarms that will
instantly warn the operator if the spray nozzle is becoming blocked
or if there is a leak.
